Just 10 days now! This next week I'll be getting the house cleaned, making sure Cody has freshly washed clothes to wear and a fridge full of goodies! I never thought this day would make it here. It felt like it was FOREVER away and now just 10 days. I'm still in a little denial that he will be here but super duper excited for him to be home! Chloe used to always go to her couch and look out the window waiting on her dad to come home from work when he called. Today the phone has rang a lot and so she went back to that ... it was cute but sad. She grabbed her little moose and ran to the front room got on her couch and waited with her toy. So of course daddy wasn't coming so I went in and laid with her for a little bit and then she realized no dad and then we played and it was better. I can't even imagine how these families do it with children. I would HATE knowing that my kids were going through the pain that us wives and family have gone through of missing someone. It's hard. Not much longer though and this will all be over. There have been rumors going around of them coming home early and then it was announced at a meeting by the Regimental commander(the guy in charge). I'm excited to talk to Cody about it and get the words from him. With this Cody will only have to go back to Afghanistan for about 60 days after his r&r.. so that is wonderful! Ready for that day to come!

Tried to wash the cars today, the salt they treat the roads with is all over them and that's bad for the paint and metal... so got everything ready went out and as soon as the water hit the jeep it froze...LOL So needless to say it's a little chilly to wash the cars...hahaha. Never had that happen before.

I'm very anxious today. I am getting to the point where I just wish Cody was here. I'm so looking forward to him being here but time is just standing still, just because I'm excited for the 8th of Feb to get here. Chloe is doing MUCH better. She hasn't gone to the bathroom in the house all week so that is wonderful! I have gotten all the work around the house done, I need to clean the house upstairs and then next week I will buy groceries for him and then he will be on his way! So really it's nothing compared to how long I've waited, I just need to be patient. I've started packing some things for our trip to Garmish. That will be so great, we are both looking forward to that!!! :)

Cody got to call last night! It was just amazing being able to talk to him on the phone! He will be headed this way in about 18 days now for his r&r! I'm so excited for him! He is so busy all the time and he has been working non stop not one day off since June 11, 2010... it will be 8 months of straight work no days off. I can't even imagine how exhausted he must be. He seems like he handles it so well. I'm probably just going to loose it when I pick him up from the airport!!! Just thinking about it I go crazy... wish someone could record us..lol that would be funny! He told me last night, after I asked if he got to shower again lately, I guess they have a schedule now of who can shower on what day... haha. Sunday's are Cody's day to shower. So if he misses on Sunday he won't get to shower again for another week. They only have a small amount of water supply and that is how they make sure they don't run out..lol Just cracks me up. He is doing good and the earthquake in Pakistan didn't hurt any of the soldiers. Cody said that some of the guys that were in their trucks could feel it but not bad where they were. I didn't even know about the earthquake until Cody told me. I'm so disconnected here. Hope everyone is doing well.. we miss you and will be seeing you earlier than we thought! :)

It's been a wonderful day! Nothing really special has happened, I've just been in a good mood and it's been nice. Cody has still been able to e-mail. He is doing good but he is going to be crazy crazy busy the next month or so. The craziness shouldn't happen until after his r&r (hopefully) that way he will be rested before the crazy! Chloe is getting better! Today I left for a few hours and came back and she didn't have any accidents! aww finally she is used to being back at the house. I'm glad that she is because now Cody can see how well she is doing when he comes home! Still waiting on the boxes I sent myself (Christmas presents and things bought while I was home). Hopefully they will come this week! Cody also told me that he got mail the other day! He got the Christmas card from my mom finally (she sent it in beginning of Dec) and he also got 2 boxes from Chrissy and her sorority and a box from Amy! He got some woodworking magazines and he was so so excited about them. That is all he has been talking about! He loves getting mail from everyone! 21 days till Cody's leave date! YAY!!!

I'm so excited! Today I booked our r&r trip! We have decided not to go to the Canary Islands anymore (Cody just wants to relax and flying somewhere isn't relaxing) so we are going to this place called Edelweiss. We have been there before on marriage retreats. It's an awesome place that you can go skiing and snowboarding plus you can go to the highest point of Germany there.. it's pretty cool! It is a Military post so they offer 40% discount off everything SO we are staying in a DELUXE LOFT SUITE! It is completely way too much space, it's like an apartment! 2 bathrooms...lol so funny but it was the only thing available for the dates we wanted and a really really good price! There is a hot tub there that has a view of the mountains, it is gorgeous! I'm pretty sure they offer massages too and Cody will definitely need something like that and I wouldn't mind a massage either, haha. O MY I just can't wait! 25 days now! woo hoo!!!!!

Time seems to continue to fly by! I'm so thankful for that! Exactly one month from today Cody will be going on leave! I'm so excited for him to get home and have a break to recoup before he goes back to finish out his deployment. I went crazy today and re arranged the entire upstairs. That was a job, still not completely done with it but the big parts are done, now I just have to clean and hang a few things up on the walls. I just want everything to look perfect when Cody gets here! It's been raining quite a bit since I've gotten back. Today was actually really beautiful! It wasn't too cold and the sun was shinning! Gorgeous! I'm still not completely unpacked, I have all my clothes unpacked and am almost done with all the laundry. It's crazy how much laundry you have after a vacation.... you don't know what's clean and what isn't so everything needs to be washed. Chloe is settling back in, she sure misses running around with her grandpa's. :) I'm getting sick of looking at my Christmas decorations but I want to keep them up for Cody to see. I told him about it and how we would do presents when he got here and he is so excited! I think once I get his presents wrapped and under the tree it will be more exciting. I mailed back all his presents from the family and what I bought him... it better get here before he does... o I would be so upset! It will be fine though :) I moved the office to our smaller room and I'm going to buy a card table to put in there. I love to scrapbook and do not have a place to do it. That would be a perfect space for it and then we can move it around if we want it for games or just extra seating when company comes. I'm super excited about it :)

I made it back to Germany! Have lots to share but I'm really tired so that will come tomorrow! I really enjoyed seeing you all and can't wait to come back with Cody and see you all again in July!!!
