Well the Christmas day's are over and it is almost 2010. Wow this year has gone by really quick! We have been in Germany for over one year and it has flown by. We have enjoyed it but we are glad that the time is going by so quickly. I'm sad to see the Christmas decorations be put up, but not until after the first of the year. I have really enjoyed this Christmas year, I got to decorate and cook for just me and Cody. Although we would have loved to be with our families, it was nice to be just us three (Chloe) this year.

Tomorrow Cody is going skiing in Austria with a buddy of his. They invited me to go but I'm not really up for skiing. 1. I am sick. 2. I do not like to skii. haha.. that is the big one. We have gone once before and I did not enjoy it at all. He seems to be excited about it so I just hope he has a good time. It will give me and Chloe, mommie and me time. Then on Thursday Cody and I are going to Berlin :) Yeah I'm so excited. We got a hotel that is half a mile from the brandenburg gate. It is the place that Berlin has their big New Years Eve Party. It is the biggest outdoor New Years party in the world... pretty cool huh?!!

Chloe is going to go stay with friends of ours for the night. He is on duty for the holiday so they do not have plans, which worked out great for us so they could watch Chloe. Although, we have found a kennel that is awesome, but she is booked for the holidays. This lady has a three story home and she has one story for just the dogs that she kennels. She has a huge fenced in yard and she just lets the dogs run. She is really nice to, our friend's used her to watch their dogs. I went with her to drop them off and I felt like I would be comfortable with leaving Chloe there. We are excited because we will be able to travel more and not have to worry about what we will do with Chloe.

Wow, It's been a while since I've blogged. We have been pretty busy with Christmas coming up. I love this time of year though, it is so wonderful. I can't wait until Christmas morning to see Cody and Chloe open their gifts. Chloe is taking after her daddy about trying to sneak in a gift or two. I caught Chloe sniffing her stocking and then jumped up and leaned on the wall and tried to get into it. I like that they both do this though, it makes it fun and keeps me on my toes. :) Also the actual number one reason why I am excited about Christmas is the fact that I get to celebrate with my family and many other people in the entire world that our Savior was born! I get really emotional every time I think about it, it makes me so happy. I am so thankful that we as sinners have a Savior that was born for us to be forgiven! I love it! It truly is a Christmas miracle. I hope and pray that you all have an awesome Christmas and begin a wonderful new year!

O by the way.. if you get a chance, please say Merry Christmas... not Happy Holiday :)

I finally got to put my Christmas decorations up!! Yay! It was so much fun, I love this time of the year. It is so beautiful and homey, it is just amazing! We started singing Christmas songs in church, I was really happy about that. Cody helped me a lot with decorating this year. He really had no choice on our tree because I'm not tall enough :) I think he enjoyed it though. Chloe didn't know what was going on, she kept trying to come sit on my lap when we were decorating. It was funny! We are going to try and get our Christmas lights up outside sometime this week hopefully.

There are airplanes dropping bombs today and it is shaking our house. Earlier it shook it so hard the front door came open!! It's crazy!!!

Cody has been busy this week with work. I haven't seen him much but a 4 day weekend is coming up for the holiday weekend. We are going to our friends home tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I'm hoping everything goes well and that we have a good time.

We went on another marriage retreat this past weekend. Back to the same place we went last time, Edelweiss, Garmish. We have to go to short meetings and then we get our room and food paid for. It was awesome. We had a really good time, I am sure glad to be home though. I feel so much more comfortable when I am in "my zone" and my area. I know what to expect and I enjoy my own bed to. We didn't go skiing this time but we did get to go in the town and shop around. There was also a pizza hut there, and of course we at there :) It was yummy! We asked our friends, Kayrn and Fran, to watch Chloe. So she stayed the weekend with them. I was SO SO SO proud of her. No accidents and No pottying in her crate. She had a happy mommie!! It is just great to know that we can leave her with friends and she isn't a pain.

Today I had to get grocries, I got a lot but didn't spend a lot. I'm trying to compare prices better than I did before. My mom is really good about that and I'm trying to be better. It really makes sense... it tastes the same(most of the time) and it is cheaper. Plus Cody didn't go with me so I didn't come home with cookies and chips and candy! I did get him chips to keep him happy though ;) hehe. I also got in a cleaning mood so I went ahead and cleaned today. I usually try to clean on Wednesday's but if the mood strikes why not, right?!

I am so thankful and glad that Cody has been home this past week or so. We are getting back into our regular routines. Today he was off work and is gone golfing. I am glad that he has a chance to get away from everything and just have fun. Sometimes it is easy for me to try and feel selfish and think that he should be with me when he is off. But I have to understand that he really never has a break from me and work at the same time! It's either one or the other and no actual FREE time.

I have started my new set of classes. These are much more complex and I have to put a lot more thought into the work. In a way that is good but then I am kind of getting stressed at the same time. I know it can be done, just scary sometimes.

Chloe is doing good, spoiled as ever! We were having some issues with her and pottying. I think it was because Cody came home, but she was peeing EVERYWHERE, in the house. She NEVER does this, so I was getting concerned. It has been about a week now and she is back to normal. I guess that was her way of coping with her daddy being home.

It was so nice today, our pastor's dad and mom stopped by to say hi. That was sweet and unexpected. It makes me feel more welcomed and wanted at the church, and lets us know that they are concerned for us. They are the one's that started the church we go to and then his son took over. Very nice people!

Cody got home yesterday FINALLY! I am really glad he is back but it is kind of weird. I was so used to doing things on my own and doing my own thing. It will take a bit of time to get used to him being back home again. If it is like this after one month I can just imagine how much time and effort it will take after a 12 month deployment. I guess I will find out soon enough. It is really nice to have him back though. Chloe went CRAZY when he walked in the door. It was funny, I had never seen her so excited before. She was like that for about an hour and then finally calmed down. I went to the craft store and got some welcome home balloons for him. I don't think he was near as excited about the balloons as I was, but he still liked them. I also made his favorite dessert, pumpkin roll. YUM YUM, it is also my favorite. SOOO fatening though, but yummo! We are getting together with some friends on Friday and going out to eat. That will be a little welcome home get together.

Cody was supposed to come home tonight and now his flight has been delayed YET again!!!! I'm am really starting to get irritated at this! Then on top of this I used a German ATM today! Not good! I put my card in and did my thing and then it spit my card back out but no money. So I waited for about 5 minutes and still nothing, and was on the welcome screen again. So I did another one and it worked just fine. I figured that it was just having a tard moment. Well I get home and check my account and it has taken out 29.99 ($20 + exchange rate) twice. So I am having to deal with that issue. I called my bank and they said to wait 24 hours and it usually will fix itself and if not call back. Plus on top of that on Sunday my phone and internet went out. So I had to deal with that yesterday. I just really need Cody to be home! I know life is full of up's and down's but lately it seems like all downers! I'm ready for my uppers to kick in.. haha!

Well just a couple more day until Cody gets home! He should be home either Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning. I am getting anxious because I just want it to get here already. I'm tired of waiting!

Yesterday I got a paper on my door(everyone got one) that it is time for the neighborhood clean up.. yeah! So with it being 30 degrees out it is OBVIOUSLY a GREAT time for this. Today isn't too cold though so I chose today to do all my work. We have a plum tree in between our house and our neighbor so I picked up all the plums, Yuck! Of course Chloe wanted to help so she was eating and licking all over them. Then after getting all the plums up I got the mower out and mowed the lawn. Mowing mulched the leaves so I didn't have to rake to much. I pulled out all my frozen flowers :( and tilled up the soil. Swept all around the house and was finally done! I think it was worth it, it looks really nice. Plus everything will be done when Cody gets home and he won't have to worry about it!

For some reason today Chloe chewed up one of my shoes. It was an old pair and they were falling apart so it was not devastating but still! She has never bothered my shoes before so who knows what got into her today.

Chloe's Nana sent her some new clothes! So cute!

Well the snow did not last long at all. The next morning it was all gone! At least I got to enjoy it for a day. It is pretty cold today, but the sun is shining. Chloe is having a pretty good day. I am going to be watching Kathryn, my friend karyns baby, about 3 days a week. She is wanting to get back in the gym to work off baby weight and can not get her into daycare yet. Today was the first day and Chloe was so excited! I had to hold Chloe for a couple minutes so that she would calm down. I put Kat on the floor with her blankie and then let Chloe down. She snift her like it was some strange thing. It was really cute. Kat just layed there like what is this hairy thing! haha. Chloe is pretty protective though. I went to check on laundry and Kat cooed so Chloe went and checked on her and then came back to me like she was wanting me to go check on the baby. I think she will have a few jealousy issue's once we have our own baby but she is really good around babies so no worries there. She just loves her own mommie time!

I only have about 7-8 days until Cody gets home. I was right all along, he just likes to stress me out... haha! He is supposed to fly home on the 26th so not much longer! I can't wait till he gets home!!! YEAH!

It has been snowing all day now and it is still coming down hard and thick!

Today we had our first snow of the year in Vilseck! I do not think that the ground is cold enough for it to really stick but it is really coming down and they are big flakes! Its very exciting. Chloe and I were jumping up and down... it was funny. I was so excited I called a friend of mine to see if they knew it was snowing. I think they thought I was crazy. They are from South Dakota so snow it not a big deal to them. I never see snow so I am really excited!!! I'm just sitting here on the couch starring out the window, it's so beautiful.

Okay so I just talked to Cody. For some reason I had it in my head that this was his last week in the field and then next week would be the equipment load up and then he would be home. I found out that he will not be home week after next. He actually has one more week( next week) in the field and then the week after that is the equipment load up thing that he has to do. So he actually has 2 more weeks after this week! I'm so bummed! I will make it though! Just have to re-figure my brain... haha!

mmm.... Mike that recipe sounds good. I'll have to try it.

Tomorrow I'm going to the airport! I'm driving by myself to go pick up a friend of mine. I'm not to nervous but it's a first for me on the autobahn.

It's really cold and windy today. I even had to put Chloe's coat on her... hehe. She hates it but she looks so cute, and of COURSE it keeps her warm... haha.

Yesterday I did my cleaning and laundry so today is a quiet relaxing day. It's nice but boring at the same time. I did go check our mail and some pictures that I had ordered finally got here. I ordered some pics of my spur ride and Cody's spur ride. The ones of me are funny, I'm so not cut out for being a soldier... haha. I do much better as a soldier's wife!

Holy Moley!! I'm watching this show and this car just wen 195 miles per hour!!!! WOWZERS!

Today it has been 3 weeks since Cody has been gone. 2 more to go. He is doing well, staying busy being out in the field. I got to talk to him on Friday for about 2 minutes. He sounded healthy and happy so that is good.

Today is cold again. I think I better just get used to this type of weather. Cold and Rainy!

So my latest delima is trying to cook a good meal for one person(me). Everything comes in packages for at least 2 or more. Meat is easy because you can divide it up and freeze what you don't need. I find it difficult to divide things like stuffing, and boxed food. Like last night I made porkchops, stove top stuffing, and corn. I measured out half of the stuffing and then cooked it... blah it was not good. I don't do leftovers very well either. Maybe that will be my only answer! Just get over my issue and eat the leftover food the next day for lunch. aww who knows.

Today has been a cloudy rainy day, so me and chloe didn't get to go on our walk. We have played a lot inside though so she is getting rid of some of her energy. I got some supplies today at the PX.

It is getting close to the time to start my second set of classes so I was trying to set up my scholarship and my school. The way it works I have to go on this website, MyCaa scholarship, and put in the set of classes that I will be taking, the amount they cost, and start dates. Well for some reason for the past month the network here will not let me get on the website. So I called the MyCaa company today and told them that. So of course instead of just setting it up for me they have to try to get the website to work for me. Well of course it has something to do with the connection in Germany so they couldn't fix it... haha. So finally after 30 minutes on the phone with them, he types in my classes, which took about 5 seconds. So after all that it is done now! Thank goodness. So this was my big ordeal for the day. I also got taco bell for supper so that was fun for me.

Chloe has been doing really well with her pottying. I have just started leaving her out in the house instead of putting her in her crate. She does so much better. If I would put her in the crate after 5 minutes she would poo and then smash it and just get it EVERYWHERE. So now she stays in the house and almost never has an accident. There have been just a few and they are in the corner in the same spot. She does her business and then leaves it alone. I am so glad that she is learning.

Well it has almost been 2 weeks that Cody has been gone. He went out to the field today so I won't get to talk to him for about a week. We will have to see how that goes... I think I can handle it but who knows! Sometimes I just want to break down and just cry cry and cry, but for some reason the tears just do not come. I think that is God giving me strength!

Mom and dad are doing okay. Dad got a spider bite and went to the doc... it healed and now mom has one. I think they have bed bugs!! Mom is taking meds for it and it is getting better. Dad is doing so well. He is walking around in the house, he still needs objects for balance, but doing good. He hops on the lawn mower and uses that as his transportation around the house. I find that pretty funny. I convinced him to finally use the motorized carts at wal-mart. I guess he was scared or something...LOL He loves them now! Mom is glad because now she can go shopping and not have to worry about dad.

I'm watching the show Diva's. We only get Armed Forces Network(AFN) so it didn't say what it was about. It was nothing like I had expected. It is about singers. I figured it would be something really dumb, but I like it!

Chloe was sick this morning. She vomited and then the rest of the day she has been kind of lounging around. Hopefully tomorrow she will be feeling better.
School is going good. It gives me something to do just about every day and I feel that I'm learning things. I guess that is good, especially for me! :)

Today has been a pretty busy one. Me an Chloe went for our walk. I've cleaned like crazy today, that kept me busy for the biggest part of the day. Tonight me and Karyn and the girls went to McDonalds and then back to her house for a movie. It was really fun. Cody called today but I missed it :(. He said that he is doing good and staying busy. He was with the other guy that he is replacing and Cody said that he isn't to worried about his job there. I'm not exactly sure what he will be doing but I think that is mostly classified anyways. At least he is doing good and he is not stressed, that is the best thing! I miss him greatly!

Michael's birthday is today! HAPPY B-DAY!

Well I got Cody sent off today :(. So far I'm doing good. The first day is always easy because it's nice just to have my own space. Tomorrow will be harder. It's really dumb because they made him report at 3pm but they don't leave till 10pm.... STUPID!!! They are going to grill out before they go.... lets just say that there are only 2 that are married and the rest of the guys are single. So they don't really care about the guys that have families. O well.... thats army life I guess!

Chloe is napping and I am just doing whatever on the computer. On Sunday there is nothing on TV so I'm just kind of stuck.... It will be supper time soon so that will give me something to do... haha. I had an assignment due today, but I had already done it last week so that I could spend time with Cody. I submitted it today and I'm officially done with 3 weeks of my classes, 6 weeks to go until the next set of classes start.

Thanks Mike, I'll be sure to let him know. That is the same type of investigation that he is doing.


I got all my fall decorations up yesterday. I got groceries today and the cashier was not very nice! The bagger kid was nice though so that made up for it. School is still going pretty well. Chloe is doing good. She got a new toy today. It's like a frisby but cloth with a ball in the middle. She isn't to sure that she likes it. She is napping right now.

Well I found out today that Cody will be home for about a day and a half and then ships out for 5 weeks!!! Man I am really bummed! This army thing is hard!

Not to much happened today. I did laundry and house cleaning. That kept me busy pretty much all day. It rained all day so I didn't get to take Chloe on our walk. I was bummed about that but maybe we can get our walk in tomorrow. It really helps her get her energy out and helps me to kinda stay in shape. hahaha. I didn't have anything school work today so I feel funny not doing anything with school.

Cody has had kind of a bum day. This Flipl thing is a curse to him. It's a investigation thing that they give to random people and of course Cody got one. Someone lost something that they were issued and (in Cody's case) moved back to the states. So how in the world is he supposed to do an investigation fully when the person is not even here. He has turned it in twice and still has to re-do it again.......... It really stinks because he has all this other stuff to do and then that on top of it! I just feel bad for him. Hope things work out for him, just keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

Sorry everyone that I have not updated in a while :) I've been busy with school and just life... It is getting better and I'm getting into more of a routine so that helps a lot! School is going really good, so far it's been all A's. That gives me encouragement, I'm enjoying it right now
Cody will be gone for 3 days next week and then about a week after that he will be gone for about a month. I'm NOT looking forward to that but I think I will handle it okay. Chloe really helps when Cody is gone, I don't feel like I'm alone. He has training and he has to leave early before all the guys and stay after they come home. So instead of the 3 weeks that the guys were supposed to be gone he will be gone for about 5 weeks. GRRR.....
I gave Cody a haircut yesterday.. that was fun. It turned out pretty good but I still have improving to do. The fading is a lot harder than it looks. I really like cutting hair though, it is so much fun. I don't get much practice though because Cody's hair doesn't grow very fast and Chloe won't set still long enough... haha!

School is going good! Everything has gotten worked out. At first they told me that only 9 out of 33 credits would transfer and I threw a HUGE fit...hehe. I let them know that that was not going to work and if they didn't fix it I was not going to attend their school! Well they fixed it... they said that the person doing the transferring of the credits basically didn't know what they were doing. So now everything is fixed and I'm on bored. My graduation date is on November 28, 2010! I will be done in just a little over one year. I'm excited about that! I already got my first A on an assignment. That was exciting to!

Cody has been really busy with work. He is going to a course, which is a class he just goes and listens to. Plus he has to stay up with his other regular work so it has been hectic for him. I just with that he didn't have to go through all that crap! None of the other guys have to do near as much as him... even the other officers don't. I just think it is dumb!!!

Karyn had her baby! YAY! Kathryn Julie Schwagel! She is so darn cute! She called us on Sep 30 at about midnight thirty. We went and got Ella(her 2 yr old) and they rushed Karyn to the hospital. She had Kathryn in about 2 1/2 hours. Her labor was going to quickly they had no time to do the epideral...ick! So she did it all naturally. So I had baby duty for 3 days... man that was crazy! Ella was great though and I got some good practice in :) Chloe did really well with her to. Ella loves Chloe but Chloe loves her mommie. Lets just say that Chloe is a very jealous dog. Ella was on my lap and Chloe comes up and squeezes between me and her and lays down.. It was funny!

I am starting school on Monday! I'm kinda nervous about it and not really motivated to do it but I know it will be good for me to get it started and finish. The great thing is that I had quite a few credits that will transfer so I will only have to end up taking like 8 or 9 classes. I'm very thankful for that. Plus it is all online so it won't be to much for me. I just don't like school so I am hoping that it goes well and things work out for the good.

Today I took Chloe on her walk, cleaned like crazy, and worked on laundry. Cody is out in the field on a range. He is shooting the big guns today so I bet he is excited. It is 6 o'clock and he is still not home so it will be a long day for him. That always frustrates me because we can't have dinner together or at a good time. So days like this we just fend for ourselves. My friend came over with her daughter today and Chloe just loves her. They play together and tire each other out so that is good for me and Karyn. She is due to have her other baby in about a week, she is ready!!

Wow today has been a long one. I am sick and the school process is just getting more complicated. I have decided to go for Associates first and then see if I want to go on with a Bachelors. The school was easy to change the hard part that I'm having to deal with is my 6000 dollar grant. They are very specific on what classes and what dates and all this so I am having to go around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get everything fixed. Plus this on top of me being sick really just does not help things but I'm hoping that it gets better!

Today has been a busy day. Last week we went to a deal they were having that had all the things that were available. Things like the banks, insurance, education, and events for spouses. They called it family rodeo.. well anyways I put my info down to receive some school info. Well yesterday a rep called me and talked to me about doing online schooling through the university of Phoenix. I told him that I would talk to Cody and see what he thought. Well I talked to him and he thought it was a good deal. Since I am a military spouse I get almost half of tuition and then I qualify for a grant that they are giving out to spouses. So today the rep called me again and I told him I wanted to go ahead and get started. So I have been on the phone all morning with him. I have filled out the application and applied for the grant. Its really great because they will get my transcript from RSU and I don't have to worry about getting that stuff. Plus my credits will transfer so I don't have to start all over. I am just waiting now for the official say so. So just keep that in your thoughts and prayers... I am excited about it now but I just want to make sure that I am doing the right thing. One thing that I really liked about this school was that you only do one class at a time and they are 5 weeks long. This way I will still have time to do what I want and not get bogged down with school. I think that will help me not get burnt out so fast. Hopefully it is as good as it sounds. :)

Okay so I didn't die doing my spur ride.. I had so much fun. It was hard but fun. We got into our groups and I had to get my face cameoed up... ick. We had 4 different stations that we had to go to. We did lots of running, sit ups and push ups. We had to take a PT test and on that I did 20 push ups and 27 sit ups and ran a quarter mile in 2 minutes and 27 seconds. I didn't pass out and that was good for me. We also had to do some army crawling and scooting.. that was hard. We had to hold a rubber machine gun when we were doing that so it made it harder. Then we got to throw fake grenades. I am really tired and my feet are killing me. So far though I have been having a good birthday.. we are supposed to go our for dinner with some friends tonight so that will be good to. YAY!

YAY... I am sure that Lana has updated everyone but just in case.... DAD IS HOME!!!!! :) Mom is so happy and things are going great. The nurse is coming one a week and the speech and physical theropists' are coming as well. Dad speech is starting to get much better, he still has a long way to go but improving everyday. We are just so thankful! Mom is kinda going crazy because dad is needing something every 2 minutes. She is getting in a routine with things and is getting used to him now. He is answering the phone now and it is so funny, but good that he is doing that.
Tomorrow is my birthday (or Birfday if your Lana...lol) I'm excited about it. I am doing a spouse spur ride tomorrow and I am wearing Cody's ACU uniform... hahaha! The guys earn their spurs and have to do all types of things and it is a 2 day ordeal to get them. We are just doing a fun thing to get ours... it should be really interesting! He is going to video and take pictures so I'll post some this weekend.

Well today we got our new furniture in FINALLY!!! :) It is PERFECT we love it! It goes great with all the decorations so I don't have to redo anything. It's really nice to have it. Chloe is not a happy camper though because she is not going to be allowed to get on it. I am going to get her a really nice bed for downstairs that will work for her "couch". She has been whimpering because she has to lay on the rug, sooooo spoiled. Cody is packing for his mini deployment(the month of October). It is really just a training thing and he has to get some things packed up today to send so that it will be there when he arrives. We are going to watch the movie Star Trek tonight with our friends. I'm not to thrilled but I'm hoping that it is much better than I'm expecting. I'll at least get nachos out of it so that is good...haha! Cody made it home safely from his course and he ended up making a 95% over all average so that was really good.

Chloe decided that she was going to chase after a rabbit on Thursday!!! Thankfully my friend Katie was here and helped me track her down. She ran across 2 streets chasing that stupid thing. She was in trouble. Cody did really good on his first test, he made a 94%. Yeah for him. He says that he is learning a lot. He also said that one of the instructors(not his) flew one of the planes on the movie Transformers II. He was real excited about it... lol! He is qualified to fly really low and there are only like 7 in the USA that are able to do that. I have about 5 days left until he is home!! I can't wait. I'm hoping that this next week goes by really fast. He is also bringing me home chips and salsa from Chilli's so I'm really excited about that!!! hahaha! I got our lawn mowed, I mowed the backyard twice so that it would look really nice. I also raked it twice. Then, of course, it rained that night which would have been fine. Except for the fact that the Government came in and mowed with their big mowers. They went right over all the work that I had done and left big tire tracks in our yard.... I got woken up to that and that just ruined my dad. I was so mad. I'm over it now but I still think they should not have done that!!! Well I better go get some dinner ready. I finally figured out why my flowers were dying in my flower bed in front of my house. I was digging down in it and I noticed that it was all mulch and no soil.... what the heck. So I finally got to the store and got 2 bags of soil and new fresh mulch. I also got some new flowers. I got out there today and went to work. I dug out all the old nasty stuff and replaced it with the new stuff. I planted my flowers and I am hoping that they will be just fine. If not, I give!! I got some re-decorating done today to. After this time around I'm done with moving things. Now I know what Cody feels like when I ask him to help me move things....hahaha!! It needs to be done though. I am really going to go crazy next week and start organizing all the closets and rooms. I just need to get it done so I won't have to keep putting on my "to do" list and it never getting done. Chloe was really good for me while I was planting my flowers because she gets to be outside. When I decorate she gets frustrated because she doesn't get as much attention. She is just a big baby...haha!

Me and my friend Karyn went to OBI and McDonald's today without our husbands. That was a first for us girls. We usually make our husbands check out and order because we are scared to speak to the German's. Our German is not very good, but we made it on our own today. That was really fun and interesting..haha. I also was the "problem" customer because I got 3 of the same flowers and none of them had a bar code. Therefore they had to call a guy up and he is trying to say something to me and I'm just like huh...... then they realize that I'm American and kinda laugh and then they speak English. It's kind of embarrassing but not to bad I guess. They are nice though if you try to say at least a few German words. I know my numbers and to say hi and bye and I think that is good enough. Good effort I would say ;) !

Today has been kind of a long day. I was really excited to go to the PX to do some shopping but of course I get there and they are either out or just don't have what I was wanting. I guess I got spoiled while we were home, you can get anything there. Mom told me today that dad walked with his walker. I just started crying because I'm so happy that he is doing well. God is really showing his presence through my dad. It is so amazing! It is started to become depressing around on post. They are starting to get things organized for when the soldiers deploy. So talk of wills and death and all that jazz is beginning. They are wanting volunteers for a committee to be formed for when soldiers pass away and families are left behind. Wow talk about sad......... that is the last thing that I would like to think about!!!!!!!!!

Cody is doing well at his course. He says that there is a lot to study and not much time. They are in class from 730 to 5 and then dinner and a few hours to study and then he heads to bed. I think he is enjoying it though. He is getting to eat at all the American restaurants so that is good for him. He is on an Air Base and they have LOTS of luxuries.

Well most of you know but we made it back safely. We didn't think that we would ever get home from the million hour long plane ride...haha. We took medicine but it only put us out for about 2-4 hours so that wasn't even half the flight. We did get lucky though on the flight back. We had individual tv screens in the back of the chairs. We watched a lot of movies and played games, so it wasn't to bad but it was still LONG!!!! We are just glad to be back. Cody is gone again though so I'm alone for now. He is at a school for 2 weeks so me and Chloe are just hanging out at the house. We stay pretty busy. I just clean A LOT and redecorate so that is fun for me. My friend Katie came over tonight and we had a girls night. We ate Subway and watched a movie. Chloe got to play with a neighbor dog. They are really nice and the dog, Maggie Mae, likes Chloe. I was really glad for her because the dogs before were mean to her. It is really good for her to have a friend and gets her energy out. She just runs in circles, it's pretty entertaining! The weather was beautiful today. I think the high was 75. It gets warm in the house but I just get our fans going and it's not to bad.

Finally things are coming together! I have Cody packed and I am almost packed. I have the passports in our carry on bag and it is right next to our luggage. I am working on getting the house cleaned up today. I love coming home to a clean house so that means work work before we get to relax. It will be worth it though. We are sooooo excited about seeing all the family and friends. We miss everyone! I am really excited but kinda nervous about seeing my dad. I'm afraid of what my reaction will be when I see him in person laying in that bed. I have been so emotional since we left the states so maybe I will be back to my normal self once we get back :). It's like I moved to a different country so I have to cry all the time. Either if I'm happy or sad. I think it may be caused by all the stress that I have been having but who knows :) I did have a laughing episode the other day(Lana you know what I'm talking about)! We were out with our friends at a German restaurant and I just started laughing and I couldn't stop. It was so embarrassing. When this happens I can't breath and I start to cry. Everyone else finds it amusing but I hate it...LOL Good thing it doesn't happen very often. Well we will be home in 3 days! Can't wait to see everyone!!!!! :)

Well today has been rainy so we didn't get to much done yet. We are trying to get everything done here at the house b4 we fly home so we can come back to a nice clean home. We did get all of our bills taken care of that are due on the first so that was good. I am sooooooo EXCITED to be home. I am going to start packing tomorrow. The army is kinda nuts!! They have these events planned on Thursday and Friday that we are required to go to. Cody is in charge of some things so there is no getting out of it. Therefore that only leaves me tomorrow and wednesday to get the rest of my things done and packed. I hope that I can get it all done. I hate doing things last minute and cody likes doing things last minute. I guess he can cram all his things in at once but not me :) I get to stressed and have a meltdown..hahaha! Knowing my luck I would forget our passports and we would be stuck!!

Aww today was a much better day!!! I got to talk to Cody for a little bit. He is in charge of the range and he calls me from the tower that he was in. HAHA I guess he just sat in the tower making sure that everything went ok. He has such a hard job. ;) I also got to talk to mom and it was for almost an hour. She went to the doctor and got some medicine. She was basically just loosing it because of all the stress. She was doing much better today and is able to have a conversation and know what she is saying. This will help dad a lot to. He is basically about the same, the speech therapist should be in tomorrow to help him a bit. Mom said that his ribs are still sore and his shoulder is sore. That is why they haven't done a lot of "rehab" things with him yet. Also the speech therapist is supposed to put some notes up so that when people come to visit dad they will know what type of questions to ask him. He still isn't eating much but they still have the feeding tube in him. That would explain why he isn't eating, he isn't hungry... haha. You would think that the docs would be smart enough to put that together. LOL Over all today was filled with good news. I am just really glad that mom is doing much better. That makes my world better when she is ok. :)

Not much more news on dad. I talked to mom but just for a couple minutes. All she said was that they had to move dad to a different room because the guy he was roomed with couldn't sleep from dad talking all night. I haven't really gotten a good update since they moved him to Pryor. Hopefully I'll find out more and if I do I'll update you guys.

I just talked to my mom and when she went to see dad today the nurse told her that they were taking the trec out of his throat :) :) :) Mom had to get off the phone for a bit but I'll call her back later tonight and get more info and see how it went. We are so excited!!!

Today was a much better day. I got to get outside and work in my flower garden so that was awesome!! I also mowed the lawn just in time for it to start raining but it didn't last long so it was bad. I got great news on dad today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was wide awake and stayed in his chair for 6 hours and was awake in it. He also told mom that he loved her!!! WOWZERS! She said that she just started crying because she was so happy. He still has that trec thing in so his voice didn't come out but he moved his lips and they could tell what he said. He was trying to say something else to but they couldn't make that out. They have been asking him little one answer questions and he can answer so that is great news to!! I know that I can always count on a good day following the bad days so that is helpful to!!!

I went to bible study this morning and then made a run to the store for some shopping. I tried to get some groceries but the commissary is closed on Wednesday!! Bummer! I came home and took some Tylenol because my head and teeth were hurting. It made me groggy so I didn't want to do anything else. I talked to mom today and dad is doing about the same. Days like this makes me feel like I'm in a horrible nightmare and my friends and family are just moving along and I'm just stuck and can't wake up! I think that just this one time I'll call mom and dad will be awake and really be awake. I just get to thinking that things are okay and the reality hits me and they are not ok. I know that he is getting better and is healing pretty quickly but I just want this whole thing to be over with and for the worry and hurt to go away!!!! I don't want my dad to have to lay in that hospital bed one more day and not being able to get out and go fishing or just sit outside.

I got all my laundry done today and finally got caught up on it. Tomorrow the pile will begin again tho. Cody has 3 outfits a day and that piles up pretty quick!! I never thought my husband would have more clothes than me! LOL Chloe is doing much better now that we changed her dog food. She had to get some eardrops put in tonight and she wasn't happy about it but she was good. Our one year anniversary is this weekend and we are planning to go see a castle. That should be fun. My dad is doing pretty well on his moving and opening his eyes. They are just wanted him to really wake up and be more alert.

HOLY COW!!!! I just talked to my mom and she said that dad opened his eyes looked at her and smiled real big!!! Then the nurse came in and dad heard her come in and opened his eyes. That is such exciting news. Mom thinks that he is starting to come out of it so that is good. I just hope that he continues to improve. Great news today though!!

Today has been a pretty good day. I got to use the car to go get groceries so we now have food in the house that we can eat!! YAY! Cody is still taking that class so he is getting home at a decent time, which is so nice!! Chloe is still being good and entertaining me :) We are coming up on our one year wedding anniversary. I can't believe that it has almost been a year already. Just about 13 days and it will be here. It seems like yesterday I was just starting to plan our wedding. Now we are planning on celebrating again. Wow very awesome! Dad is still about the same, we have found out that he can only stay at meadowbrook for 30 days. I am hoping and praying that he is better and can come home by then!! I miss him.

Today has been an okay day. I am so ready to be back in the states and see our families again!! We really miss everyone! Chloe is doing good, we got her some new dog food and she is eating it much better than before. She is feeling better I think! Cody is taking a class this week and next and he has homework again. He is enjoying the class and is learning a lot so that is good! We only have 45 days until we get home so that is so exciting!!! We love you guys!

Today has been a pretty good day. We went to church this morning and then went to the PX in Graf. We didn't get anything, they didn't have what Cody was needing. We were going to grab lunch at Taco Bell but the line was so long we just came home and put a pizza in the oven. It was pretty good. Not much update on dad he is about the same. It's getting harder because there for a while he was responding and showing physical signs that he was healing. Now I think he is just resting to heal more and that is hard because you can't see that.

Today dad opened his eyes!!!! :) Tara called me today and told me that he opened them, we are just so excited. Dad is really healing and looking good. He has been moving around a lot and he is breathing on his own today. They turned the breathing machine down all the way and he is doing it all on his own. They are watching him closely just to make sure he is breathing. They were supposed to move him to meadowbrook to start his therapy today. They haven't talked to the doctor today so they are not so sure that they will move him today. We are getting good news though and that is a great encouragement!!!!! We love him and are still keeping him in our prayers!

It has been a few days since I have blogged. It has been a busy weekend and a hectic week. I got to see my dad today over skype and he was moving around quite a bit and he is moving his eyes. He still has his eyes closed but there are good signs that he will be awake soon. I was talking to him over skype and when I would talk or when Cody would talk dad would move his eyebrows and his arms. It is such an encouragement when we see him moving. We get so excited and then start to bug him about waking up :) My mom was in his face telling him to wake up and is constantly touching his arms and face to see if he responds. He is really doing well and we thank God for every movement and every moment that he responds. It is really hard to have strong faith during these times but when you see the results it shows Christ's presents ... I just don't see how people don't believe!! It is still hard but knowing that he is in God's hands just makes things easier.

I got to talk to my mom just a little bit ago. She said that dad is off the sedative and the doc's tried to wake him today. They shook him to try to wake him but it didn't work. They told mom that since his head was injured it will be a slow process for him to wake up. It's almost like the brain has to restart or something. So we are just doing the waiting again. Keep him in your prayers and pray that he wakes up soon!

The latest on dad:

Tara updated me yesterday on dad. They started taking him of the medicine that was the sedative and he was moving around a lot more. She said that his coloring is good and he is looking much better. They were still waiting for him to be more alert to take him off the breathing machine. That is really all I know. I'm hoping to hear more today from them. It may be later this evening. Tara was thinking about going back to work. Michael should give me an update though when he gets back from school. I just want dad to be healed and at home. We are getting good news everyday though so he is healing!

I went to get a haircut on Saturday. I asked for just 2 inches cut off and layers. Well I ended up with about 8-10 inches cut off and now it is shoulder length. I wasn't expecting it to be so short but I really like it. Cody isn't really into short hair so he wasn't very happy but I think he is getting used to it. I like it because it is just a HUGE change, plus it is much healthier now.
Chloe is doing good. She has been moping around some because Cody has been working so much and she misses him :( . So cute though. She got a bath last night, she hates bath time, haha. We had a "movie night" last night. We watched National Security at our house. We bring down blankets and make a pallet like we did when we were kids. We popped popcorn and shared it with Chloe. She likes movie night because she gets to eat popcorn.

I'll try to keep putting updates on dad. Hopefully he will be home soon! I miss talking to him!

Well today seems to be a harder day for me. I don't know why but I just have this awful knot in my stomach. I guess it's just because I have to sit and wait for news that doesn't really help. Nothing has changed which is good news but it's just hard not knowing when he will be awake. They took another cat scan yesterday and the results looked the same as the first one. I got to talk to my mom and she said that he is looking better. She said that the swelling and bruising have gone down! They are going to have to keep him sedated for a couple more days. They will take another cat scan in 2 days. I don't know what they will do after that. Michael and Tara said that they went in and said I love you to him and he was trying to respond so that is good. Mom stayed there with him all last night. She seems like she is coping okay. I just feel better when we get to talk!

WOW Definitely NOT a good day for me. I got a call that my dad had fallen off the roof of his barn and had to get life flighted to the hospital and is in critical cond. It's late and I'm trying to stay busy so I can get all the updates on my dad from Tyson. God is watching over my dad because he is an old man and he is still alive after falling of a roof. Thank the Lord for his love. All our family and friends are there for my dad, we just wish we could be there for him. Cody is going to try to get some sleep before work(in 3 hours). Chloe is cuddling with me so that is nice. So far the results are coming back positive. Just waiting.

We went to Edelweiss this past 4 day weekend. We went skiing and had a really good time. We had to put Chloe in a boarding kennel and when we picked her up she was excited to see us. Once we got home though that was when she showed that she was mad at us for sending her there. She is still a little mad today but she is coming around! Cody is going to be working a lot this week and this next month so hopefully things won't get to crazy around here. We had a pretty good Easter weekend. We got to talk to some of our family and we really enjoyed it. My parents didn't get together with my side of the family but they had some friends that invited them over so that was nice for them. We didn't have a big Easter dinner but I did make broccoli and cheese casserole so that made it feel like home. We missed family and it is always the hardest around the holiday's. We talked to G-ma Lydia and I think she was about to cry and that is hard to hear. She just misses us though. Our friends Karyn and Fran and their little girl are going to be here in a few weeks. We are getting excited about that! It will be nice to have people here that we know! I found out that almost everyone that is here likes to drink,party, and cuss. I think that is why we haven't found to many people to hang out with. We just don't like to do those things and feel out of place around people that do. We will make it though we have each other!! We are going to have to buy a lawn-mower this week. Our grass is getting pretty high and is starting to look bad. It was ok until our neighbor mowed and now you can really see how tall it is. :) We took lots of pictures on our trip so I will post them today!

Today we went to the PX and got our refund and ordered yet again another set of furniture. I'm so sick of furniture now...haha. We ordered beige wall away recliner sofa and love seat. This way the color will go with whatever I decide to put on the walls. I get bored with things and like to change colors a lot so red just wasn't a great decision. We left Chloe at home twice today and she didn't have an accident!!! I'm so proud of her and I think she is really doing well. I got an e-mail today from our friends Fran and Karyn and they will be here in 3 weeks!!! I'm looking forward to that so much.

Today hasn't been that great. Good thing bad days only come once in a while! I just don't like our furniture that we got. It seems like the more I look at it the more I hate it. I am just really upset because I didn't take time to think about it. We just saw it and bought it. Thankfully though Cody agreed with me and didn't like it so we went and talked to customer service and we are allowed to return it. We have to pay for the delivery fee but other than that there is no penalty. I'm really glad because I didn't want to be stuck with something that neither one of us were happy with. It was one of those things when it looked really good in the store but not in our house. I was so mad at myself and just cried all day but I talked to my parents and Cody about it and now I feel a little bit better. Times like that is just when I want to kick my own butt for not thinking first!!! Tomorrow they are going to come pick it up and then we can get our refund on Wednesday. I just need to stop letting little things like this stress me so much. We also were on the phone all day trying to find a dog sitter. We called and talked to probably 5 places b4 we found one that could take her. I'm nervous because this will be the first time I have been away from my baby since we got her! I think she will be just fine it's me that we will have to worry about.. haha. Hopefully we will be so busy this weekend I won't notice to much. Cody and Chloe are playing with an empty propel bottle right now. It's pretty funny. O and the best part about today was that I got to enjoy my Chilli's salsa still. It is soooooo GOOD!!

We really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt that the squadron put on for the kids. It would have been more fun if we had kids of our own but I think we are still kids ourselves :) We were in charge of the egg on a spoon race and we had a really good turnout. We were there for a couple of hours and then came home. That was the best day so far I believe. The weather was so wonderful and has been for about a week now. Today it is a little rainy but still very nice. Yesterday we took a little trip to Ramstein, Germany. We went to the Air Base there and I got to eat at CHILLI'S!!!! O my it was soooooo good. I ate until I was about to pop! I got salsa and chips to go and I've been eating on them today.. YUM YUM! We ordered our furniture on Friday and got a lot of our errands done. We really lucked out on our furniture we went in the PX to order some of the internet catalog but we looked in the store first. We found some we liked in the store so we ordered that and they delivered it TODAY!! Yah! We were really glad that we didn't have to wait 3-4 months. We were surprised it only took 2 days but I guess they had it in the back so we got it! We have it all set up and it looks good, we just have to buy a rug and it will be done! I'm so excited! Cody is glad to because this means he doesn't have to move furniture anymore... haha. Chloe likes the new furniture to, she is already making it her new bed. We didn't get the white like we were wanting but we got a red/Burgundy color. I think it will last longer and stay cleaner. We didn't get to go to church today because we had to be here for the furniture to be delivered. I got groceries though so that is good. This next weekend we are going to Edelweiss for a marriage retreat. We get to go for free and we have free time except for 2 hours of an evening. We get to go skiing and all that jazz. It will be a fun experience for the both of us. Hopefully we don't break anything when we ski. We miss you all and love you!

Well today I feel much better. I guess I was just having a day to fall apart! Chloe and I went on our daily walk. It is sooo nice here today. I am wearing shorts in Germany! Something I never thought I would do. I have all the window's open in the house and it is just wonderful. Cody didn't get to come home for lunch today. He has been working a lot lately. He worked until 6 last night and then had to go in early this morning at 5. He has 2 four day weekends coming up back to back. I think it is their "spring break". Tomorrow we get to help out with the Easter egg hunt for the kids. That is during the day so he will be able to enjoy that part of the day. I'm excited because I actually get to leave the house :)! Chloe is doing a little better lately but she hasn't been left alone. I'm hoping Cody will take me to OBI so I can get her a kennel to stay in. We are supposed to go in today and re-order our furniture so hopefully it won't take to long to get here. I'm ready for it!

We finally found some furniture that we really like. It is a mint green...sounds ugly but it is cute. The chair is big and poofy and comes with an ottomen thing for the feet. It will work good for Cody. Chloe and I went on our walk today. After going to the doc I figure I really do need to start exercising more. I cleaned a lot and got the living room looking nice again. On the weekends it just goes to pot. I cooked chili for supper and tried to spice it up with rotel and onions but that just made is taste yuck. So we had hot ham and cheese sandwich. My hip and foot and shoulder hurts on my right side now and my left elbow still hurts. I don't know what is going on but I don't like it.

Well Cody made it through the 24 hour duty. Today though wow I'm glad he doesn't have to do it again for awhile. He looked like he was high and acted grumpy.. which is understandable.. no sleep for ever 30 hours. He slept most of the day but he was kind enough to take me to the doctor's office. I had to have the lovely "well women" exam... ya know the one that all women just love to get GRRR. :) The doc said that everything was fine so I guess that is a good thing about it. My blood pressure was sky high though and my pulse was 111.. he thought something was wrong with me but I was just really nervous! One bad thing about today was that we got a phone call from the PX. They had a problem with ordering the furniture, the company no longer ships here. Therefore we have to pick out new furniture from a different company. We were bummed but we found some that we like just as well so it's not to bad. Chloe is being a poo head lately, she tore off the hose that is attached to Cody's camel pack(water thing for work). It was issued to him so he was not happy at her. We are just going to have to buy a kennel for her and she will have to stay in that while we are gone. We just can't trust her anymore!!

Ok so I tried to put our sd card in the laptop to put these pics on my blog and we got it stuck. Cody and I worked on getting that darn thing out. I think it was an hour b4 we got it out. It was jamed down in the slot and we had to use tweezers and scissors to get it out!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!

Last night we went to another Hail and Farewell. We didn't get to stay for the whole thing because Cody had to go out on Courtesy Patrol. He had to check all the bars and clubs for drunk people and then take them home(only the soldiers not Germans). I think he had fun. He was gone all night so it was just me and Chloe here at home. Cody has another thing tomorrow that is a 24 hour thing. He will be gone all day and all night. We won't get to go to church because he leaves at 9 in the morning.
Today we went to McDonald's for lunch and then to the garden center. I got some flowers for the garden out in front. I'm excited about getting them planted, it's rainy today though so hopefully tomorrow. We are wanting to get some outdoor furniture for the back porch but the PX just doesn't have much. I think we will go back to Ikea. Paula you are right about it being confusing but once you get it figured out it's not to bad. We got lost when we went there and couldn't find the exit. We went up and down the stairs I think like 6 times before we figured it out. It was really funny but I felt so stupid. I'm sure people were looking at us saying stupid Americans. We get that A LOT! :)

Cody is out at the range today so it has been a really slow day here at the house. Chloe has seemed to forget that she is potty trained. I'm about to lose my mind with her! I've been trying to get things organized but it is almost pointless. It just ends up into another mess. O well I guess it's a good thing :) We got our furniture ordered on Monday...I'm soooo excited about it but it will take 2-4 months. That is crazy. We are hoping for it to arrive earlier. Cody is stressed with work... that's never good :( It seems like everything hits all at once and he isn't used to that. I am hoping that things will clear and go back to normal for him. The weather has been so weird lately. It has been snowing for the past 3 days but it isn't cold enough to stick. Last night there was a thin layer of snow but didn't last long. The sun shines but it snows at the same time. Chloe hasn't been able to go on her walks because of the weather. We miss everyone and love you guys! We are ready to come home but that is a ways off for now.

Well I haven't blogged in a while. I have been pretty busy but now that the house is painted I have more time. Chloe is much happier now because she gets more Mommy time. Her ear mites are much better now. I think the medicine worked and I'm glad. Today it is pretty rainy and gloomy outside but it is kinda nice. The sun was out yesterday and we are not used to it. The only bad thing about the weather here is that when the sun is out it is still about 30 degrees. Cody should be home anytime now for lunch. Well Chloe needs to go potty so I better wrap this one up.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days. It's been pretty busy around here. I have been painting the house and I just have one room left to do before I'm finished. It is looking pretty good but new furniture will really bring everything together and make it look homey. Cody has been very busy with work and has not been home much lately. Chloe and I are handleing it ok. Poor Chloe has ear mites and has been scratching up a storm. I feel so bad for her. We got her some medicine and I'm hoping that it works for her. I think she is milking it though because she is getting to sleep in our bed.

Today was a good day. Cody and I went to Regensburg and had a interesting trip. We went to Ikea(furniture store) and looked around for about an hour. We had fun and bought a few things. We saw a KFC but didn't stop, we should have though. We almost got hit by a bus also, it was stopped on the side of the road to let passengers off. We proceeded in our lane and I guess the bus just thought it was going to run us over... thankfully it didn't though. That was scary though. We made it home and then I got in the mood to paint so I started painting our entrance. It looks pretty good, I'm excited about it. We have church in the morning and we are going to BK for breakfast YA!! :)

Today has been a good day. Something is wrong with our laptop because everytime I hit the Y button it is a Z and it is really throwing me off. Yesterday I painted our bedroom light blue and got it done in one day. Cody was in the field all day for work so I was by myself all day. Chloe got a haircut and was not happy about it. Today has not been very productive just working on getting laundry done.

Cody got a Wii for his birthday and Chloe did not react to it very well. We think that she thought Cody was throwing a ball everytime she went for it there was nothing there. It was pretty entertaining for us though.

I think that I made Cody feel like a little kid on his birthday. I made him blow out candles and open cards and with the banner I think that is really what topped it off.

O wow. Today was great! It was Cody's birthday and we just tried to make it as good as possible. I cooked him Fajitas today for lunch and then we had birthday cake that I baked for him. He got a Wii and he has played it for about 3 hours today. I'm glad that he liked it. We also got to skype with Tara, the web cam wasn't working very well though. It was nice while it lasted though. We met up with Katie and Scott for dinner and a few games of bowling. We had a blast. After our bowling games we went back to their house and played Wii. Cody really enjoyed that. We finally made it home at 10:30pm and I felt like a Grandma because I was yawning at like 8:00. I made it though. Cody is pestering Chloe and she is really focused on him.. It's cute. We are supposed to go to the bakery for breakfast in the morning with Katie and Scott so we are looking forward to that. Then we are going to church.

Today has been a non-productive day. Chloe and I just hung out together and didn't do much. I took Cody to work after lunch and tried to get some things at the PX but of course they were out of what I wanted to get. I made BBQ chicken for dinner and it didn't turn out to great but it was edibale, I don't know if that is spelt right :) Cody came home from work and spent most of the time upstairs ordering things for work. We are going to try to get out taxes filed tomorrow as long as it works out for Cody and his work. I have to get things ready for Cody's birthday. I'm really excited about it, I hope he has a great day!

Today has been a great day. Much better than yesterday. I slept in way to late but it's okay I guess. I mopped the floors today and that made the house smell nice. I did some more laundry also. That kept me pretty busy for today. Cody came home from work early today and we went to the PX in Graf. We got some mini-blinds for our windows finally so people can't see in our house. Chloe has found this little metal car that we have no idea where we got it, but she loves it and carries it everywhere! It is so cute. I finally got plans with our new friends that we met at church. We played phone tag for a while but we finally got a hold of each other. We are going to go out and celebrate Cody's birthday on Saturday. I'm really excited about it. They seem really nice and non crazy like some ppl we have met.

Today was a busy/stressed day. Today was the "Coffee" day. Well what do I have to say about that..........I felt like I was alone. Everyone was really very nice and introduced themselves...BUT I basically sat alone and watched all the women talk with there friends. I didn't feel as welcome as I thought it would be and then the girl that conviced me to go with her didn't go and didn't call to tell me she wasn't going. Therefore I sat alone in the corner and looked like an idiot. I have a hard enough time being alone and then I go into a room filled with women that are supposed to be supportive and I felt more alone than when I'm actually alone.That is enough about that. I did get almost all my laundry done and the upstairs of the house cleaned so that was good. The entire house is cleaned now so it is ready for Cody to mess it up again :) I cooked chilli tonight for supper and it turned out really good. Cody ate nearly the whole pot. We still haven't got to file our taxes. Every day we think we can something comes up and Cody has to go in early for work! One day maybe(preferably b4 April 15)

Today has been a very busy day. I finally got to use the car today and had to get grocries. The commisary wasn't to busy thankfully. Chloe destroyed my coaster holder but that was it today. Cody worked all day and didn't get off till about 5:30. I went to pick him up and then we got some dinner at BK and had to wait about 30 minutes just to find out that the burger boiler was broken. We had to order chicken sandwichs' and they were not good. Then one of Cody's friends came over so Cody could help him with his car. Missing the family still but doing okay.

Today we haven't done to much. We did get the chance to connect on skype with our church family back at home. That was really nice, it makes it feel more like home. We really miss our family and friends. We are trying to make the best out of this opportunity because we will probably never have the chance to go to Europe again.

Today has been a great day. It has been snowing for about a week and today Cody got off work early because of the road conditions. We made a snowman and then Cody tackled me in the snow GRR :) Chloe played in the snow with us but she gets to excited sometimes. Today she got excited and ran around the neighbors house..lol She came back though!!
