Sundays we always get up and go to church. No matter what we are in church! Some mornings, like today, I don't feel like going. This morning was extra hard because neither Cody or me wanted to go. But we got up got ready and went and of course, just like normal service is always good! We get to see our friends and it turns out to be great. After church we came back to Post and had lunch with some friends and then we sat and talked for hours. It is so good to have good friends and especially after a deployment for the guys to get together and just enjoy life. We came home and are resting now. Cody is probably going to nap and I'm going to try to get some house work done. It's beginning to get away from me. We are going bowling tonight. I haven't been bowling since August of last year when my family came to visit. I'm stoked to go! :) I hope that everyone has had a blessed Sunday :)

It's been over a week now that Cody has been home! It's been WONDERFUL! We have been going on all kinds of adventures and just enjoying our time together! This is a four day weekend so we did a little traveling yesterday. We kind of got lost but ended up getting to where we needed to get to so it ended up being good! We were together so that was good. Today we have just mostly been at the house. He is getting a few little jobs done around the house. We tried to get the sprinkler out today and it worked pretty good. Cody got "shot" by the sprinkler a couple times and it was HILARIOUS!!! Chloe is so excited about having her daddy home! She has been so good and has been so happy. It's funny! She had a little issue with one of her nails.. the one on the side of the paw, a dew claw. It was getting caught on things and bleeding but then I checked it today and it is gone so I guess it just fell off which is good. It's been just great. It's much harder to keep the house clean and the laundry done but it's totally worth it :) We are looking forward to see everyone here in about 30 days or so. Can't wait :) woohoo!

Well we are at just a few days now!!!!!! Wow. This has been the hardest year of my life and it's soon to be over. The process has begun and he is on his way! We should be whole again by mid week! Today and tomorrow will be days of getting ready, freaking out, cleaning, freaking out, and last minute things... O and did I mention freaking out??? hehe. It's crazy to think that he will be here! That is so awesome! I planted more flowers today and trying to make the house beautified. I will be getting the video camera and regular camera charged tomorrow and a friend of mine has so graciously volunteered to capture it all on ... I want to say film here but it's all digital... hahaha. O my I'm so ready and I know you all are to! I will post once he is home! :) Praise Jesus!

Done to one week, should be less than a week but we've heard of a delay. I'm just waiting to get the phone call that says your husband will be at the gym at this time... be there! I'm still going to have everything ready by Friday so I will have the weekend to try and stay calm just in case he does come on Sunday and if it's late then I will still be ready for him. I'm going to buy all the groceries and goodies for him tomorrow! I'm getting so excited to get things prepared and getting everything put up and ready for him! I will definitely keep you all updated where he is as soon as I know. I'll try to update on here and I'm sure once he is actually home the word will spread very fast :) Just a waiting game now, but he did start his move. He is no longer at the COP where he has been so that is a huge move toward him being home! :)

Well we are almost to the 2 weeks mark. I'm starting to make a list of things that need to be done before homecoming. I've gotten a few things done already. I like to be extra prepared so I'll probably get everything done next week and then have the week before he gets here for little details and just to relax so I don't go crazy. Once this next week is over Cody will be moving to a "safer" area and will begin his travels toward Germany so really one more week of actual stress and worry and then he will be safer. Chloe has really gone off the deep end. She did so good until Cody came home for r&r and once he left she has just gone wild. I don't think there has been one day that she hasn't gone in the house.... She just cries a lot and just seems bummed. The weather has been bummed lately to so we can't get out for a walk so she's ruffing it right now, but she will get back to normal once things are normal here. It's so great here on post, everyone has their signs out and flags and it's just so patriotic around here and I LOVE IT! Just needing my hubby, as we all want him home :) YAY.

Today has been a day. My goodness. It's getting closer and closer to Cody coming home and the closer it gets the worse I get. It's not something I can really explain. Guys are already coming home and I'm seeing them in church and I have friends that have their husbands coming home and it's just so hard. Cody is extremely tired and ready to come home. I'm just to the end and ready for him to come home. We are both soooooooooo excited but the anxiousness is overwhelming. And of course Chloe senses my anxiety so she is acting like a dog who has not training, forgets she is house trained and destroys my inside plants. I am getting to where it's almost time to start getting things ready for Cody's homecoming so I'm trying to focus on that so I won't feel overwhelmed by the stress. Staying busy helps me so much. I'm wanting to do so many little detailed things so he will have the best homecoming welcome ever! I can't say on here because Cody reads this (hehe hi babe) but I'm so looking forward to taking pictures and just celebrating us being whole again. I'm so glad for you all (our families) to have peace knowing that he is home and getting to talk to him again. We have 28 days until we can fully breath again!!! I'm so ready for that day!! We will be coming to Oklahoma at the end of June through July so we are both very excited to see everyone!!!! I was driving yesterday and saw a man fishing and I started crying. This was a HUGE sign that I'm homesick... haha. Ready to see my husband and ready to see our families!!! :)

It's been a crazy week. My friend's baby had to be admitted to the hospital. The lovely Germany doctors told her after 2 days that nothing was wrong just to give her nose drops. So then my friend just had a gut feeling something was really wrong and took her into the clinic on post to see the Pediatrician and found out that her baby has the croop (not sure how to spell that). So lovely health care here in Germany. I got to go flower shopping which was extremely fun and this weekend it is supposed to be in the 70s so I'll get to plant them and work outside. The Post has also opened a dog park which we all have been waiting on for over 2 years now. I took Chloe there today. She ran and ran and ran and played. It's a good place to meet people and for Chloe to make new friends. Cody is doing well. There is some sickness going around, they are calling it the plague. So far he has avoided it, hoping and praying he doesn't get sick. We are just waiting now for him to come home. So can't wait for that day!!!! :) Missing you all and we are both ready to make it back to Oklahoma and visit with everyone!
