Over the weekend we made a trip to Austria! It was really neat. We went to Salzburg. Our friends said they would watch Chloe, they have a small dog to so it's perfect. So we got a hotel and drove. We got there and it was just so beautiful. Germany is about the same but the people in Austria are MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we also got to walk around the old city. That was really neat. We took a Mountains and lakes tour which was a lot of fun, we were on a little bus for the most part but we also got to take a 45 minute boat ride across one of the biggest lakes in Austria. There was a little pool in the hotel and we went there one night. It was fun to. We really just enjoyed it. The bad thing was that on the drive there it took 5 hours and on the drive back it took 2 1/2 hours.... we kept getting turned around by the GPS because of traffic so on the drive back we removed that setting and just flew... literally Cody was driving over 200 Kilometers/hr and that is 120 mph!!!!!!!! UGH.... but it's okay I just prayed and held on tight ;) We are now looking forward to our next trip, coming to OKLAHOMA!!! :)

Cody and I couldn't ever get to sleep last night. Since we couldn't sleep we made up this game. I'm awful with movie lines and so Cody just started spouting off lines and we had to take turns thinking up lines and guessing. Then of course I got in my giggle mode and just was laughing so hard I couldn't breath, lots of fun. We had a good weekend and then today he had to go back to "work". He is working half days but today he started back doing PT so he was up at 5am something. We had a homecoming bbq today. It was okay... don't really know many people so mostly stuck by Cody, which I LOVE! We've been playing with Chloe all evening. She is full of energy. It's fun to watch her and Cody play. She is in a barking mood, she hardly ever barks. Finally just made sure that I got back to my routine this week, so laundry will be done by the time we go to bed tonight. woohoo! We been watching the "storm" come through. It basically went around us so we are bummed out now. We can still hear the thunder so that is nice. Down to less than a month now before we come home! We are so excited!!!

Sundays we always get up and go to church. No matter what we are in church! Some mornings, like today, I don't feel like going. This morning was extra hard because neither Cody or me wanted to go. But we got up got ready and went and of course, just like normal service is always good! We get to see our friends and it turns out to be great. After church we came back to Post and had lunch with some friends and then we sat and talked for hours. It is so good to have good friends and especially after a deployment for the guys to get together and just enjoy life. We came home and are resting now. Cody is probably going to nap and I'm going to try to get some house work done. It's beginning to get away from me. We are going bowling tonight. I haven't been bowling since August of last year when my family came to visit. I'm stoked to go! :) I hope that everyone has had a blessed Sunday :)

It's been over a week now that Cody has been home! It's been WONDERFUL! We have been going on all kinds of adventures and just enjoying our time together! This is a four day weekend so we did a little traveling yesterday. We kind of got lost but ended up getting to where we needed to get to so it ended up being good! We were together so that was good. Today we have just mostly been at the house. He is getting a few little jobs done around the house. We tried to get the sprinkler out today and it worked pretty good. Cody got "shot" by the sprinkler a couple times and it was HILARIOUS!!! Chloe is so excited about having her daddy home! She has been so good and has been so happy. It's funny! She had a little issue with one of her nails.. the one on the side of the paw, a dew claw. It was getting caught on things and bleeding but then I checked it today and it is gone so I guess it just fell off which is good. It's been just great. It's much harder to keep the house clean and the laundry done but it's totally worth it :) We are looking forward to see everyone here in about 30 days or so. Can't wait :) woohoo!

Well we are at just a few days now!!!!!! Wow. This has been the hardest year of my life and it's soon to be over. The process has begun and he is on his way! We should be whole again by mid week! Today and tomorrow will be days of getting ready, freaking out, cleaning, freaking out, and last minute things... O and did I mention freaking out??? hehe. It's crazy to think that he will be here! That is so awesome! I planted more flowers today and trying to make the house beautified. I will be getting the video camera and regular camera charged tomorrow and a friend of mine has so graciously volunteered to capture it all on ... I want to say film here but it's all digital... hahaha. O my I'm so ready and I know you all are to! I will post once he is home! :) Praise Jesus!

Done to one week, should be less than a week but we've heard of a delay. I'm just waiting to get the phone call that says your husband will be at the gym at this time... be there! I'm still going to have everything ready by Friday so I will have the weekend to try and stay calm just in case he does come on Sunday and if it's late then I will still be ready for him. I'm going to buy all the groceries and goodies for him tomorrow! I'm getting so excited to get things prepared and getting everything put up and ready for him! I will definitely keep you all updated where he is as soon as I know. I'll try to update on here and I'm sure once he is actually home the word will spread very fast :) Just a waiting game now, but he did start his move. He is no longer at the COP where he has been so that is a huge move toward him being home! :)

Well we are almost to the 2 weeks mark. I'm starting to make a list of things that need to be done before homecoming. I've gotten a few things done already. I like to be extra prepared so I'll probably get everything done next week and then have the week before he gets here for little details and just to relax so I don't go crazy. Once this next week is over Cody will be moving to a "safer" area and will begin his travels toward Germany so really one more week of actual stress and worry and then he will be safer. Chloe has really gone off the deep end. She did so good until Cody came home for r&r and once he left she has just gone wild. I don't think there has been one day that she hasn't gone in the house.... She just cries a lot and just seems bummed. The weather has been bummed lately to so we can't get out for a walk so she's ruffing it right now, but she will get back to normal once things are normal here. It's so great here on post, everyone has their signs out and flags and it's just so patriotic around here and I LOVE IT! Just needing my hubby, as we all want him home :) YAY.
