I just attended a really good ladies conference at our church here in Germany. I really enjoyed it and I'm ready to act on what we have learned.
Communication between Cody and I has been very sparse lately. He was going to call last night (we set it up to have a date). So I left the conference early and came home, waited and waited and waited...no call. Later that night(around 10pm) he got on skype to chat. It was so late where he is we only talked for a bit but it was WONDERFUL to chat with him. He is so busy right now and this weekend he is traveling again! (rolling eyes) I was so blessed though to wake up to a phone call from him this morning. In the midst of their traveling they made a pit stop at another FOB and he was able to call :). I think that is a blessing from God because I've been discouraged with him not calling and because he was traveling he got to call. He told me that at the FOB he is normally is at the phones are down.
The weather has begun to dwindle...ick. The sun no longer exist in Germany, haha. Gray, rain, and unfortunately (soon) snow.
I'm getting super excited about coming home in December!!!!!!! I haven't seen much of my family in so long! I'm excited to eat fattening food. I want some donuts!!!! mmmmmmm I'm getting a little more nervous about the flight. It will be the first time for me flying by myself, Cody has always been there to say o there is our gate run there...haha. PLUS Chloe is coming along with me this time and she is NOT going as checked luggage. She will be with me the whole time, which I am super excited about but nervous too. I'm only nervous about what will really happen once we get into the States. I hope they don't have to inspect her or anything, plus I have a really short layover in Atlanta for my flight to Oklahoma. I'm sure it will all be fine, but I'm a worrier ..... one thing I'm working on as well :) Can't wait to see you all!!!!!! :):):):):):):):)

God's Plan
Lately I have been having some issues with what God's plan is for me. I wonder why I am in this country all alone? I wonder sometimes if I'm just here going with the motion or what am I really doing. I get discouraged and feel forgotten. I look around and think why would I have to suffer and be alone without my husband for a year? Then I really look and see the blessings that God has provided in my life even though I do not see them.
I have some of the BEST family in the world! God allowed Cody and I to meet and be husband and wife. Not only is he the best husband but he provided me with a true family. I have parents who love me and would do anything for me! Cody got Chloe for me, which sounds silly but she is helping me so much to get through this deployment. It's like Gods way of putting his love into something I can see. I know that Cody and I will (and do now) appreciate each other even more and know how important each one of us are! I'm learning even more how to be an independent and strong women so I can be a better wife and mother(someday). I think I am also starting to learn that being a strong women means being closer to God. I also have struggled with school, I've had ups and downs with it. I am not on my final class and it is the easiest class I have ever taken! The teacher is so easy on grading. Week 4 is about to start and I have a 100% in the class. We are able to have 1 brand new Jeep and a really nice sports car. We can pay our bills and have plenty left over. I have a home that I can be warm in and feel comfortable. I have great friends that support me (sometimes overwhelm me) but that is okay! I am hardly ever sick and I have no health issues. I will be a college graduate in 6 weeks, coming home to visit my entire family, and seeing Cody not to long after that!
It is so much harder to focus on the good things of life when sadness is around me. When I really think about my life I can see God is here and God is in control. Even though I might think things are bad, God has blessed me beyond belief! When I have down days, I need to focus more on what my life is about and rely even more on God. He is always there and never leaves! I think sometimes I get the selfish bug and I have to always remember it's not about me! It is about being a better person towards people and showing them God's love!

Good girlfriends!
I absolutely LOVE having awesome girlfriends that make me laugh. I've always been more mature than the average person my age, but I also have a VERY goofy fun side to me. I just know there is a time and a place for that type of behavior. Well my group of close friends here are just like me and tonight we had a blast. Every time we get together we always laugh. So we've started doing this dancing thing. We are all fully white girls and can't REALLY dance but we try. Me and my friend Sophie were mostly dancing alone tonight but Crystal also started in, Rebecca was too into the movie. So we are just being silly and shakin our bums and just being crazy. Then Sophie starts doing some kind of kick dance and so us girls join it... it was sooo funny. Then little did we know, but our friend Rebecca was VIDEOING us dancing!!!! I would share the video but I've been threatened not to, hahaha It was a great night, dinner movie and dancing with the best girlfriends!

Today has started off pretty good. I over slept and now I have a headache though. It seems like things are going good for Cody still. He has had a bit more "me" time for himself. He has been able to use the Internet and go to the gym. He also got to play the game Risk last night. I'm just glad that he has kind of got the jest of his job and has some help to. Keep him in your thought and prayers still tho, he will be changing jobs and moving so ... yeah I'm nervous but I trust God and I know things will be okay in the end. I'm wanting for this year to be over and for June to arrive. I miss him and I know all of ya'll miss him. At least we will get to come home and visit when he gets back :) I'm just tired of feeling stressed, worried, sad, angry, happy and then the emotions just repeat over and over.

Today has be wonderful, although it didn't start out that way. I've been the friend that is always early or definitely ALWAYS on time. This past week something has got me thrown off and I've been late to EVERYTHING. So my morning started off bad because I was late and it really got to me today. My best girlfriends and I were going to a 5k walk/run for domestic awareness. I woke up late, so therefore was late getting around and late to meet my friends. I brought Chloe and for some reason she was making me upset. So anyways after I got over the fact that I was late, I started to feel better. So we walked together to meet at the place for the walk. There were not a lot of people but it was a good turn out. We started at one point and walked/ran the path that was marked. I ran about half and walk the other half. It was amazing. I was by myself for the most of it, two of my friends ran the whole way and one walked the whole way so I was in between the groups. Poor Chloe almost didn't make it but I carried her some and she ran most of the path. I got to walk in a peaceful time and had talks with God. I feel so great. I also feel like I can't move, haha. My legs are sore, my knees hurt, my bum hurts, my arms and shoulders hurt. Even with all that I feel so good! I think we are going to do the walk/run every Saturday now. They talked some about domestic violence before and after the walk. They said that in the Army 1 in 4 women report abuse. That hurts my heart for them, but I'm glad they were strong enough to stand up and get out. Anyone who reads this and is in this situation, I pray and hope that you can find someone to confide in and someone can help you get out of that bad situation. No matter how much you believe it, anyone who hits you or treats you with any type of abuse, they do NOT love you! Love is not hurt.
I missed a call from Cody, but I'm glad that I did the walk and can be proud of me completing that.

Well sorry guys it's been a while since my last blog. I guess I've been busy with life. October has started and I feel like I'm getting to the top of the hill with deployment. On the 11th of this month Cody will have been gone for 4 months. I've been doing good with school. I just finished the first week of my last class! It's a science class and I'm enjoying it so much. I'm so thankful that my last class will be interesting. I'm 8 Sunday's away from being a graduate, woo woo! Then I'll be that much closer to coming home and seeing my family! I'm super excited to get back to Oklahoma! I'm trying to prepare Chloe. We are introducing the airport bag to her and so far she has done GREAT!
THE BEST THING EVER: I got to skype with Cody last night for over an hour, then we got to chat for even longer! It was WONDERFUL! I love him so much and I get all giddy when I get to actually talk to him and hear his voice and see him, it's like I'm in a high school crush all over again. haha. He was talking to Chloe and she was all excited to. She kept looking around trying to figure out where her daddy was... too cute. Cody is so great!

YAY! Cody called today. It's been four days since the last time he called, and the last time he called it was only about a 20 min conversation. So 20 minutes in almost 2 wks... not much :( I was so super excited that he called tonight. As soon as the phone started ringing I jumped up, spilled my coke all over the end table, and everything on it. Ha, all that and I got to talk to my honey :) I didn't even care about the coke.... okay so I did care but it's okay. Even Chloe was excited, it's like she knew it was daddy! We got to talk a while and I got to hear what he's been up to. I'm sad because he's been so busy, but glad that his time is flying by and he is safe so that is wonderful.
On a random side note, my friends and I have started a cursing jar. Not really for myself, because I don't curse, but I do have some friends do and what you are around seems to rub off on you. So us four girls, made an agreement. We will keep a tap of every curse word that is said by each person. We have also included (I get a pass because I'm explaining it, haha) suck and piss. Even though these words aren't necessarily "curse" words, but they are inappropriate to use. So those two words will cost ya 50 cents and any other curse word cost 1 dollar. At the end of the month we will tally up the amounts and whatever it is will go toward a monthly dinner. So far one friend is 3 dollars in, an two are 50 cents in, and I'm still at zero :). I personally have thrown in a few other words for me to work on not saying, like retard. It's just an immature and offensive word. We were going to try to include the word crap, but all of us had said it like 10 times that night so we decided it would be a free word, lol. I think this will be interesting and we will all get rewarded at the end of the month!
