Another week... This one is starting out to be better for me. This past weekend was really not that great for me... although we did do a lot of things. We hung out with friends all day on Saturday, which was fun, and Sunday was church and then lunch with friends and then bible study. It was a crammed packed weekend. The not so fun part was I was still sick and it kept getting worse. Yesterday was really bad, my ears and throat hurt so bad I couldn't hardly swallow. I should have taken it easier over the weekend. Then last night I woke up, at 3am, sick at my stomach. I couldn't go back to sleep for a few hours, by the time I did get to sleep Cody was getting up to go to work. But after all that, this morning I woke up and felt much much better. I'm not fully over my sickness but it is 10x better then it was.

So today is laundry day, cleaning, and grocery day. I am working on laundry and cleaned some (not done yet) but groceries are going to have to wait. It is really cold out and snowing and I have a few things here to get us through a couple meals. So it is a good day to stay in and do housework. Although I did venture out to get the mail today, I hadn't checked it in over a week and my mom had sent a package about 2 weeks ago. It was there and had been there for a week.

Cody has taken up wood working and he made me a Kleenex box holder. He did a really good job. It took him about a week to complete it all because of work, he didn't have much time. So yesterday he got it done and I stained it and it looks BEAUTIFUL! So now I'm going to have a list of projects for him to do ;) hehe!

Today has been one of those days where I don't get much done but I've been really busy. I woke up and got ready, took Chloe out and just relaxed until Cody got home for lunch. He had lunch and at 1 o'clock he went back to work and I went to meet a friend for lunch and to help her with something. She needed her car taken to the repair place but didn't have transportation to get home, her hubby was workin'. So I followed her to the car place and we waited around. German's enjoy life and do not get in a hurry to do anything :). So we waited and waited, then they finally came in and she told them what was wrong... and then we waited and waited again. It was good though cuz we got to talk and hang out. Then I took her back to her house, but first we stopped at the German grocery store. She lives off-post right in the middle of Amberg(the town where the McDonald's is). I was driving on cobblestone to get to her house and I pulled in front to let her out... and here comes the meter guy. He was lookin for a victim... so I had to hurry and drive off. I got home, did homework which took a little while, and now I get to relax for just a bit before having to cook dinner

I did get two side storage closets organized yesterday and was going to do our closet's in the bedroom's today, but that will have to wait for tomorrow. O and I am sick again... this weather is awful and it just keeps me sick. It is just sinus' and allergies' but that gets annoying when it keeps coming back. So watery eyes, sneezing, runny/clogged nose and headaches. FUN FUN! Plus on Wednesday's the store is closed and I used up most of my medicine last month when I was sick so I'm out of meds and can't get any until tomorrow! GRR So I have a date with the couch and the kleenex box tonight! Plus American Idol is on tonight so that should help me feel a bit better! WOOHOO!

Back to regular life again... Cody had a four day weekend. It is so nice to have him home but it really throws me off from my schedulr and routine. I am such a routine girl that I just crawl inside when things to get done when they are supposed to.

For example:
Laundry days are Monday's and Friday's... four days are on fri, sat, sun, and mon. So therefore laudry is usually spotty on those four day's.

Monday's and Tuesday's are also cleaning days. So on four day my cleaning day's get pushed back.

I have tried to learn to work around Cody's schedule when he is home but sometimes I just have to stick with mine. Cody has learned that I get cranky if the house is not clean and laundry is not done, so he is pretty understanding.

Yesterday I also started my next set of classes in school. I am taking Ethics and Essentials of Managerial Communication. So I am trying to focus on that now. I am glad that I am going to school, but online is really the exact same for every class: Discussion questions, Checkpoints, and assignments. Everything is the same set up, which makes it easy but sometimes make for a boring semester.. or ever a boring year. I really like it though because I do not like new things so this helps me to be prepared when I start new classes.

Today I am going to get the closets organized. I went to the store and bought some of those vacuum sealed bags. We have a lot of bags and bedding items that take up so much room, so that is my big task for the day.. I better get started because it is already 2 oclock in the afternoon.

Well today I have prepared myself to be stuck in the house for the next few days. We are getting a winter storm, which is including 6-8 in of snow on top of the 3in that we already have on the ground. All the children were released early from school and all the soldiers were released at noon. At least I will have a chance to spend all day with Cody. We are watching the National Championship game today, since it was on at 2am here. They are replaying it for us today which is nice. Chloe is sleeping, as usually and is being so cute. Today is laundry day so I am working on that, trying to stay caught up on it. I have no idea what I am going to cook for supper, hopefully I'll think of something yummy. So really we are just hanging out and enjoying our day!

Today life is back to "normal". Cody went back to work and I'm back to school. I really enjoyed the Christmas break but I'm glad we are back to our normal routines. I do best with routines, and Cody does not have many when he is not working. I think his only routine is to see how cluttered he can make the house... haha. It is amazing how clean the house is when he is at work... haha. I can not stand it when things are just laying around and are not in their spot. He thinks it is funny that I just freak when things get cluttered. He started his new job today. I think it will be good for him, but he thinks that he will be bored a lot. It snowed about a foot today. Everything is covered and white! The roads were clear and then it started snowing and in two hours they were covered, couldn't see them at all! It is crazy how much it can snow in so little time.
Chloe is extra clingy today, which is really bad. Her normal days she is clingy so when it is extra it is just ridiculous. I love her to death, but today I just need some time. Like right now she is laying right next, almost on, me. Even when Cody came home normally she just runs to him.. not today. She has been attached to me ALL day. She just has her days sometimes.

We made it back safely from Berlin. Our hotel was really nice and Berlin is an interesting place to visit. We had a good time at the party, but it was really crowded and I was kind of feeling like I wanted to punch all the people :). It was so crowded everyone was just pushing and shoving their way through, they were stepping on my feet and pushing me down... thank goodness Cody was there or I would have ended up on the ground. It was cold and snowy, which wasn't to bad because we dressed warm. But we did not plan on all the slushy snow! Our feet were soaked and frozen. I wore boots and Cody wore tennis shoes. Neither one was good for the slush. So we have decided that we need to invest into some good snow shoes. We didn't end up leaving until after 1 o'clock and finally got back to the hotel around 1:30 or so. We just walked from the hotel to the party, which was really beautiful(on the way) The snow was undisturbed and the trees were beautiful and there was a river running through. So romantic :) I was glad to get back home and get Chloe. We are at home and waiting on pizza to be delivered :) Yummo!
