I've almost gotten through one week of no hubby. It's going reasonably well but there is a definite void. Today I woke up to SNOW!!!!!! How depressing.. I was really enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Luckily it did not snow for long and not much of it stuck to the ground :):):):):) woohoo! I cleaned a lot today and organized kitchen cabinets! I was bored haha. I got homework done and all together it was a good day. I went out for dinner and got some popeyes chicken, yummo. Mom and Dad got high-speed internet (OMG) and hopefully they can get skype figured out. They have a friend-neighbor that is going to help them so that gives me some hope ;) I'm really excited about it though! I can't wait to see them :)



I do have some FRUSTRATION to get out though!!!! Okay so Lana and my mom know about this situation but for the ones of you that dont I will bring you up to speed.
Okay so obvious we live in Germany and we only have a few options. So of course we have the on-post cable/internet/phone package and we pay about $100 a month. Don't get me wrong.. I am grateful for the fact that we get to call home for basically pennies. My deal is that half the time it does not even work. Almost everytime we call home to talk to our parents the phone goes out at least once and sometimes twice! Most of the time we just unplug the cable and plug it back in and everything is fine. For the last 5 days I have had trouble with the internet and phone. They both have gone out and for about 3 days they were out for good... there was NO fixing it! This really stresses me out because I have classes online that I have to do work in. Thankfully I did not have anything due on the days it was out. Once before we have called the "hotline" company to come and look at our outlets to see what is wrong... o yeah I forgot to mention that only 2 out of 5 cable outlets work in our house! anywho... we called them to come out and check the outlets... they came and about 2 seconds of being here they said it was our cable that we use to connect from the wall...! So we have had to just deal with what we have. We know that it is the outlets because we went out and got new cables and we still have the same problem! Again I am thankful for the ability to talk to family... but still VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!

O yeah and Skylee has gas today and O MY she stinks... LOL!!!

Well I have 2 days down and about 20 to go. So far things are going well, today has been much better than the weekend was. Usually on the weekends I just do whatever Cody wants or needs to do. We just hang out and enjoy our time. So Saturday and Sunday were SLOW, it felt like they would never end. Today has gone by fast and hopefully the rest of the week will to. I have my regular routine during the week so that really helps me a lot to stay busy.

It was hailing this morning about 10 and then at noon it was nice, but still cold, and sun shiny, crazy weather. I am really glad for the sun to be out though, it just makes life great!

Both dogs are doing good, it was a little cold to go for a walk today. I did let them out in the backyard to get some outside running time. Chloe gets to just run and run with no leash or anything cuz she will come when I say her name. Skylee (the dog I'm watching) does not so she is on a really long cable. Which is great because her and Chloe still get to run and wrestle outside but I don't have to worry about loosing her (Skylee).

I lost a husband and gained a dog for 3 weeks. Cody left for training this morning and will be gone for almost a month. Also a friend of mine went to the states for 3 weeks and her hubby also went out to the field this morning so I am dog sitting one of their dogs. Her name is Skylee and she is a big dog. I thought it would be just like having Chloe... wrong. It is fun but lots of work. Not really to much more than Chloe but she is really strong. I found out the hard way that they need to go out one at a time to go potty. This morning I took them both out and all they wanted to do was run and play. Long story short... One came in and one stayed out and then switched. We all also went for a walk and that went surprisingly well. I think they were just enjoying the walk and were distracted. But now we have a routine down and it is working well. It will keep me busy and Chloe entertained until Cody gets home.

Cody got a ticket on the autobahn. They set cameras up and when you are driving over the speed limit it flashes you and then sends it to you in the mail... This is what we got... LOL

I'm a week overdue on my post... It's been kind of crazy around here. We had a really good time in Norway. We got to go snowmobiling, which was a BLAST!!! We did not get to see the Northern Lights because there was a snow blizzard. The snow was beautiful though, and we got to use warm clothes from the company so we were warm. They also served us reindeer stew which was AMAZINGLY GOOD! They crammed us all into a tee-pee and we ate dinner together. We tipped over our snowmobile just once.. and it was fun, no one got hurt. I was ready to come home though and was glad to get home. I finally got all our stuff unpacked and all the laundry done from our trip.. that took a couple days.

Cody is also going to some training for three weeks and we have been trying to get him ready for that. He has been crazy busy at work and so that makes it harder to prepare for him to leave. One thing that was going to make this a little easier was that he would have his cell phone. Well today he came home and said that they are not allowing cell phones. So needless to say it will be a long three weeks. No contact at all! They want them to be completly focused on training!

The snow has ceased for now but there is still a lot of it on the ground. I think we are expecting more this week though. I'm really ready for spring and summer weather. Also I'm getting really pasty, I've been non tan for my whole life, but lately it is pasty. O my I need some sun!

Tomorrow is the day, we head out to Norway. I am really nervous because none of the details are worked out yet. We know for sure that we are getting on a plane and flying to Onslo. This is where we are staying for the day and night. Then we are supposed to be flying to another city, for the snowmobile's and the northern lights, but it's not quite worked out if that will happen. We began this trip at one price and it seems to keep going up and we have the money I just don't want to spend it :) I like to save and have a big cushion, so Cody keeps reminding me that it will be okay and we will have fun.

Also I'm weird because I don't want to leave my precious Chloe. I spend every moment with her and it's weird being away from her. So last night Cody and I started packing, Cody packs worse than a women.. hehe. He acts like he has to pack the whole house. It's so funny though, I was packed in about 10 minutes and it seemed like all night for him to get packed. Then this morning I got Chloe packed and her shot records ready to go. She is staying with some friends but they may decide to take a day trip, so I wanted to be prepared. The kennels have to have copies of her records. I guess they need to make sure my little Chloe won't eat another dog... hehe. Anyways the whole reason why I'm explaining all this about Chloe is that she gets weird. She is like her mommie, she love routines. If I do anything out of the ordinary she freaks out and gets scared. Especially if I start to pack, she hates that. She will come and sit on my lap and try to keep me from packing. Everything will be fine with Chloe and our trip will be great... at least that is what I keep telling myself ;)

O yeah and mine and Cody's "anniversary" is on Valentines Day. We started dating on Feb 14 2004, so it will be 6 years this year. The trip is kind of our gift to each other, but then I cheated and got him something else, it's small but it's still an actual gift he can open.

This week, so far, I feel non-productive. I've done the normal stuff, all the house stuff, but I just feel like I've done nothing. We had a super bowl party on Sunday. It was fun but the game didn't start here until 1230 am so we were up till about 4 in the morning. We have about 6 people over but they dwindled and then there was just 3 of us and then just Cody and I. We couldn't make it to the end of the game, but almost. We had a good time anyways. Mom's birthday was also on Sunday, we surprised here over skype at the church. She was so surprised she started crying and she just couldn't stop. She had a good birthday overall and I'm so glad she did.
