I talked to Cody today and he reminded me that I haven't blogged in a while, so here I am. I have been cleaning the house and getting ready for my family to come. I also started my next set of classes. I think they will be okay, but I'm really nervous. One of my last classes the teacher was a complete fart! I have other words for the man, but choose not to use them :). The way that teacher treated me has me really nervous about my classes now. I felt like none of my work was good enough, he would always criticize and never give positive feedback, accused me of plagerism (even though I didn't) and reported me to the school, who then sent me an "official warning". So nevertheless, I am scared that I will disappoint these teachers. I did my first assignments today and seemed to get good feedback, so that gives me hope. The first week is really when I'll get the feel of each teacher, and I'm hoping for a good week.

I'm still dog sitting, which is going pretty well. Her and Chloe stink really bad and there is not much I can do about it. The smell is throughout my house, and me being the clean freak I am, cannot stand it!!! I have the windows opened and candles burning, but not much is helping. Skylee was playing today, but she bit my toe. It was kind of funny, but kind of not haha.

Cody is doing well! He is VERY busy with work and I think he may be getting a little overloaded but he is a strong man and a strong soldier and he will be able to handle it!!! :) (Love you honey).

One week from today my mom, dad, and Tara will be here! I am so super excited for them to get here! Chloe is going to go crazy with excitement. She really hasn't got to spend much time at all with my parents! Really only a few days and I've had her for 2 years. That is just crazy. I think her and my dad will get along great. She will get up in his lap, cuddle up and sleep :) so cute. This also means I have lots to do before they get here. So thankful this is finals week in school. Unlike when Lana, Dwayne, Trav, and Chrissy came, the week they were here it was finals week. But I did do the work early so it didn't make much of a difference. I just have to do mostly cleaning before they get here, and of course get the bedrooms ready for guests! Today I went and got them put into the system so they can get on post. The people who work here are not friendly, very cold and rude! So I just have to keep smiling and just think they are not worth my time. It really does bother me tho, but whatever. I just am nice back.. I told the lady, after she was rude and very unfriendly, to have a great day and she just looked at me like I was crazy, then said you to... I like "killing" people with kindness! :) Then I got to my jeep, once inside, screamed a little and was over it. haha. It cracks me up how annoyed I get, LOL

Cody called last night and he is doing well. He had a long day yesterday. He woke up at 2am and had to work, got a few hours of sleep, then back to work until about 8 or 9. He is working like crazy but it is keeping him busy which keeps his mind of missing us. Hoping to hear from him tonight but it's just a waiting game, he can't ever guarantee when he can call. It great to hear from him at anytime. Just to know he is safe is the most wonderful feeling. I try to keep you all in the loop because I know how it is not knowing much.

Okay so dogsitting is not that hard of a job but it does have it's downfalls. The most major one is the smell! I'm sitting a bigger dog, she is pretty good but when her and Chloe play, it's like a play fight. They are gnawing on each other and slobbering and running and sliding on my rugs and just going crazy. Luckily Chloe is very well trained I can just say her name and she comes running to me and sits down. The other dog mostly follows. With the both of them I smell dog all the time. Chloe gets a bath once a week and I NEVER smell dog in my house. This other dog is big, I gave her a bath but not a very good one. Didn't want to freak her out to much. Plus the smell drives my allergies up the wall. That is why I gave the other dog a bath. The smell is horrendous right now... I hear bath time calling them FIRST thing TOMORROW ! I'm a CLEAN FREAK and it is really driving me bonkers! I need to smell the freshness of a clean house and with the dogs that smell is far far away!

No phone calls from Cody fro the last few days. I got a message saying he is safe and working a lot. He is just so tired at the end of the day to call, he just needs to sleep. Work and sleep I think is his life now! Poor guy!

O Wow, today has been one of my better days since Cody left! I woke up with no plans for the day, except calling the Vet clinic to get Chloe an appointment for her yearly check up. Well I've been calling them for the last 3 days and no answer or busy signals. I called about 6 times this morning and I FINALLY got through, and guess what?? The only appt they had opened for the month was July 29th at 940am. Well that is the day mom, dad, and Tara are flying in and I have to be at the airport! So I have to do this Vet calling process ALL over again next month to see if I can get her in. So wish me luck :)

So then I started putting a box together for Cody, I already have one done with goodies in it but he needed some of his Army clothes that he didn't take with him. He also needs more socks so I was putting that all into a box, then noticed that I need to buy him some new good socks. So I was going to just go do that and come back home. Well something in me decided to go over to Graf because they have more of a selection, got half way there and decided I was going to go to Amberg to eat McDonald's and shop! Ha so I did that. McDonald's was yummy and I got 3 new dresses and a little cover shirt jacket thing. Then I came back got gas in the Mazda and went to buy Cody socks. Well of course they didn't have any!!! I'm going to check at Graf hopefully they will have them. Then I went to the post office and I got a package from my mother! I love her so much, she is so thoughtful. She sent me some of my favorite icing and a cake mix for when they come. She wants to make me a cake for my birthday! I'm super excited about that. She also sent some little books for me to read. She also sent me some mail, which I was really glad to get. I had mailed in to renew my OK drivers License and they mailed it to her to that was great! So now I do not have to worry about my license expiring. It's just been a good day! Hoping to hear from Cody tonight! He called last night and is doing good!

Yesterday was a hard day! I was just kind of bummed out, I think I was just really tired! The night before, it was so stinking hot in the house, I didn't get to sleep until after 3am. Cody called, which I should have been excited about, which I was. The stupid phone kept messing up. The delay was there like normal, which I'm used to by now. It is still annoying but doable! Then I could hear him just fine but he couldn't hear me. So he decided to hang up and call back to see if that would fix it, well it didn't. So I got to hear him say I love you and I said it back but who knows if he heard me! He said he would call back today so HOPEFULLY the phone is working better. I just seriously get SO irritated that the Army has all this money and they can not provide phones for the soldiers that actually work. My friends husband is at a place where they have ONE, yes ONE, phone for the entire base! How stupid is that! Anyways, it really just stinks! The people here always said, o we do everything to make sure that the soldier and their spouse have communication! Well I'm VERY thankful for even being able to hear his voice for just one moment, but it would be nice if they would work on getting better communication lined up! Hopefully they will just get the soldiers out of there and the year will fly by and Cody will be home and I won't have to worry about calling him. I can just see him here, in his recliner, and know he is safe and talk to him any time I want! Yesterday was one month tho and it kind of seems like it's getting harder! It is sinking in that he isn't coming back for a LONG time and I'm all alone!

So yeah yesterday was hard! Thanks for letting me vent! :)

Today is a new day and I'm going to make the best out of it. I'm meeting a friend for lunch, it is laundry day, and I'm going to clean the house! I think yesterday was so hard because all I had to do was went to church and then lunch, and had the rest of the day with NOTHING to do!

Wow! What a day. I got 2 homework assignments done, which were the last of the assignments for the week. So that means the weekend is free! Hmm, what to do now??? LOL

Super excited about talking to Cody last night. He got to call and we were able to talk about 30 minutes. I didn't want to get off the phone, but I think he HAD to go. I am happy for him though, he finally got to his destination so he is getting settled there. He is supposed to get his own office, and he said it should be able to put a bed in there. So I guess it will be a good size. I forgot to ask him if there will be air conditioning... I sure hope so! He is surrounded by some of his good friends so that makes me feel better for him. Chloe and I miss him SOOOOOOOOOOO much but it really helps when we get to talk to him. I know you all miss him to and I know he misses you all!!!! I'm so glad that he has a GREAT supportive family and that I can be a part of that! :) I feel so blessed!

Today was just one of those days! I had lunch with friends and that went pretty well. I saw a soldier in his ACUs and started to cry. Normally I have myself together really well but I guess today it's time to let things out. I did get the grass mowed and that was productive. Also I have a friend who is driving to get on a flight today and she is nervous so I went with her to get a late lunch, I didn't eat tho can't do two lunches in one day. She felt better after just hanging out so she is headed off now. She has two boys and one baby on the way so she was a bit nervous. Chloe has been pretty good today. I missed a call from Cody while I was out. He left a message saying he got to his destination. He sounded tired but said he was okay. Hopefully he can call back later this evening. I've started to put a box together for him. It might take me a while to get it filled but eventually. I'm going to send him a letter first just to make sure it gets there before I send anything else. If the letter gets there okay I'll get the address out to everyone.
